Primitive Star Quilt

A fun and folky quilt!  One of my favorite star blocks to make.  Lots of time and love went into the making of this quilt.

Pattern by Linda Brannock and made by me.  Measures approximately 52″ x 63″.  The stars and baskets are hand appliqued.  A wonderful scrappy quilt in good quality fabrics in prints and homespuns.  I used an 80% cotton/20% polyester quilt batting.  The blocks were machine pieced together after the stars were made.  The backing is the brown cotton plaid homespun picture.  Hand quilted in the baptist fan pattern.  There is a hanging sleeve on the back to hang if desired.
